The No Sale button on the POS allows a user to open the cash drawer on a POS or perform other cash exchanges. When configured in HQ, various No Sale functions can be available on the POS (i.e. Make Change, Paid In, Paid Out, Tip Out). If configured in HQ – Cash Management – Actions. If Actions are not configured in HQ the POS will display an open text field (optional) for input during a No Sale transaction.
To access No Sale on the POS, login to the POS, press the Functions button in the top center of the touchscreen then select the "No Sale" button.

POS Functionality
When “Actions” are configured, the No Sale button will open a list of those Actions. In the screenshot below, this is what the POS flow will show for a “No Sale” / “Make Change” transaction.
Below is a link to configure Actions in TRAY HQ. If no Reason is assigned to an Action, the POS user will be prompted to input a Reason using a keyboard input.
