Product Configurations - Quick Reference

Products Configurations are special attributes that can be associated with a product to give them certain behaviors.

When editing a product, at the bottom of the screen click the "Select Configurations" dropdown to the right of Configurations. The Product Configurations box will appear. This is where you can save the individual item configurations specifically applied to that product. The list of configurations and their functions is listed below.

Product Configurations:

Available For Order Ahead	Enables "Order Ahead" if web ordering is being used.  Should only be enabled on 1 product in the menu.
Open Item	Marks the product as an open item and will allow custom prices (this is tied to the POS permission ChangePrice)
Disable Instructions for POS	Disables the ability to add special instructions to the product on the POS
Disable Instructions for Customers	Disables the ability to add special instructions to the product on the Kiosk
Disallow Quantity	Disables the quantity feature on the POS or kiosk (only one of these products may be rung in at a time)
Sodium Warning	Flags a sodium warning to the product that will display on the kiosks
Vegetarian	Flags the product as a vegetarian product which then displays an icon to the right of the product name on the kiosks
Split Item	Breaks products used as modifiers out from the parent item in the cart and on the KDS so that they appear as independent items while still retaining modifier group restrictions
Hold Item	Products with this flag will be automatically fired into the "held" state, so that the user must manually fire this product
Priority Item	Products with the priority flag will move to the top of the line on the "line view" KDS so that they are more visible
Donation	Flags the product as a donation item. (For reporting purposes)
Service Charge	Flags the product as a service charge. (For reporting purposes)
