Inventory Management - Phase 1
We’re introducing Inventory Management, a lightweight set of tools designed to help operators track the basics—without trying to replace full-scale inventory platforms. Build detailed product- and modifier-level recipes, manage items, suppliers, purchase orders, and counts/waste from one centralized place, and access inventory anywhere, anytime.
You’ll also get real-time reporting for key insights like COGS, stock on hand, variance, and more—so you can stay on top of costs and consistency with less manual work.
What’s included in Phase 1?
Inventory Items (Venue Level)
Feature flag to enable the venue-level Inventory tab
Create, edit, and delete inventory items directly at the venue level
Recipes
Build recipes using the inventory items you’ve configured
Save recipe ingredients for use in depletion logic
Depletion (POS-Driven)
POS sales will auto-deplete the correct recipe items and quantities based on what’s sold
Purchase Orders
Create purchase orders (POs)
PO inventory automatically added to Stock on Hand
Add, edit, and delete suppliers
Reporting
Reporting visibility into COGS, inventory value, waste, purchase history, and more (as delivered in the MVP report set)
HQ Permissions
Control access to inventory functionality with roles & permissions (limit who can view/manage inventory)
Inventory Count + Waste
Perform and log inventory counts from HQ
Ability to save a draft inventory count and come back to it at a later time
Track variance between expected vs. actual stock levels
Perform and log inventory waste from HQ
