The Printers/Drawers Tab is used to create the Receipt and Order printers for your site. For each Printer at your site, there must be an existing device profile added to your site in Tray HQ. On the Printers/Drawers Tab, you can Edit existing printer profiles or add a new printer by clicking on the blue "Add Printer" button in the upper right corner of the screen.

Printer List
The printer list is sorted alphabetically.
The printer list displays the fields below.

| STATUS | Online (Green) or Offline, Unknown (Red) or Error (Orange). |
| NAME | Printer Name, e.g. POS 1Printer, POS 2 Printer, EXPO Printer, etc. |
| RECEIPT PRINTER | Yes (Receipt Printer) or No (Order Printer). |
| THIRD PARTY RECEIPTS | Yes (Prints Third Party Receipts, OLO, etc.) or No (local receipts only). |
| CASH DRAWER | Yes (Printer is configured for a cash drawer) or No. |
| MODEL | Printer manufacturer (Epson, Star, etc.). |
| PAPER WIDTH | Allows the user to specify a paper width (typically left as Default). |
| PORT | Communication Type (USB, TCP or BT) BT is Legacy Functionality. |
| IP ADDRESS | The IP address of an IP printer, this field will also display the USB bus information for USB printers. |
| MAC ADDRESS | MAC Address for IP printers. STAR printers will sometimes display the USB bus information in this field. |
| PRINT COPIES | Number of copies the printer is configured for, up to 3. |
| RING BUZZER | Check Box to enable – Order printers only, if buzzer is connected. |
| BUZZER DELAY | Delay, in minutes – Sets the delay between the order printing and buzzer activation. |
| DRAWER ASSIGNED | The user that the drawer is assigned to will display here, if the drawer is not assigned this field will display No. |
| DESCRIPTION | Anything entered in the Description field on the printer configuration will display here. |
| ACTIONS (Edit/Delete) | Edit/Delete if the user has the appropriate permission. |
Upon clicking the Edit Link or the blue "Add Device" button the screen below will open. Once the information has been added or updated, you will need to Publish the information by using the blue “Publish” button at the top of the screen. Choose “Site Settings” and then the “Publish” button. The Printer must be assigned to a device on the POS/KDS Tab to function.

| FAILOVER PRINTER | The printer that will act as a backup printer for this printer if the printer fails for any reason. NOTE: Order printers and Receipt printers can only failover to other printers of their respective type. |
| PRINTER TYPE |
Receipt Printer – Prints guest receipts from the POS. Order Printer – Prints a ticket to be used in the kitchen or bar. |
| THRID PARTY RECEIPTS | Receipt printer only - when enabled, receipts that originate from ordering integrations will print at this printer. |
| CASH DRAWER | Check to enable – Enables a printer fired cash drawer on this printer. |
| DRAWER POSITION | Drop Down Menu – Select the Drawer Position, e.g. Drawer 1. |
| MODEL | Drop Down Menu – Choose the manufacturer of the printer. |
| PAPER WIDTH | Allows the user to specify a paper width (typically left as Default). |
| PORT | Communication Type (USB, IP or BT) BT is Legacy Functionality. |
| IP ADDRESS | The IP Address for IP printers can be entered here. |
| MAC ADDRESS | The MAC Address for IP printers can be entered here. |

| TEST PRINTER | Check Box to enable, does not consider the device in the hardware count. |
| HIDE FOOTER | Receipt Printers Only – Removes the default footer from the receipt. |
| CARD RECEIPT COPY | Check Box to enable – Prints two receipts for credit card orders. |
| DESCRIPTION | Custom footers can be entered here (only if an existing JSON has not been applied to the site settings) |
