KDS

After a Certain Amount of Time, Held Items Should Fire Automatically

STR-1349

Description

Items that are manually held (not held for cook time) can now be configured to automatically fire after a designated amount of time. This time can be configured in TRAY HQ under Site Settings > Operations

Hide Some Reports on TRAY HQ

ENT-690

Description

We have certain reports that are out-of-date, or no longer supported. These reports have been removed. The Daily Sales report is also now the default report when logging into TRAY HQ.

The following reports have been removed:

Improved System Performance and Optimized Labor Report

Description

We have optimized the emailed sales report query that runs at the end of the day

 

Orders Fired with No Active Routings Should Advance Straight to Done

INFRAP 1076

Description

When there is no active routing theme when an order is fired to the KDS, the order will remain in the new state and not advance, even when a routing theme is enabled

Optimize Manager Functions Screen

Description

The "Functions" tab on the POS should now take less time to render.

Pushy SDK Update and Retry Connection Mechanism

STR 1500 

Description

Updated the pushy SDK to the latest version 1.0.86. 

Also updated the heartbeat interval from 5 min (300 secs) to 1 min (60 secs). This will shorten the amount of time before pushy attempts to reconnect to a device if that device is seen as offline.

Automatic CC Authorization Chits Do Not Print When Issuing a Gift Card Using a Credit Card

Description

Now, when paying for a gift card with a credit card the system will print an authorization slip when the payment type is set to "Authorize"

Optimized Payments API query

Description

The Payments API has now been optimized, requiring less CPU utilization and providing faster speeds.

Credit Totals Mismatch

Description

We resolved a mismatch between the Data API and the Daily Sales report wherein there was a discrepancy on the "Credit Totals" line

Fixed a problem: Although KDS is set to print “Group by Order”, it prints “Group by Item” instead

STR-1416

Even though the KDS Settings reflected that the "Group by" setting was set to "order" the order printer for that device would still print by item

Fixed a problem where the "Swipe Only" flag was not being enforced for permission authorizations

Symptoms

When a manager POS account is set as swipe only, the manager can still use their pin to authorize permissions

A problem where the wrong tax was applied to a discounted OlO order was resolved

STR-1566

Symptoms

Discounts provided to OLO checks result in inappropriate taxation. The tax displayed on the check in OLO/TRAY does not equal the configured tax rate for the categories of the products in the check when discounts have been applied to the check on OLO. We compute and return the tax payable to OLO

Fixed an issue - On Android 10+, the menu occasionally does not load

Symptoms

For tablet devices on Android 10 and above, the menu fails to reload from time to time

Fixed an issue where Users with "Edit Visibility" are unable to change the visibility of item modifiers within a modifier group

The visibility of item modifiers within a modifier group cannot be altered by above store users with the "Edit Visibility" permission

HQ | Reports - Payments | Fixed a problem when a refunded check's payback is not taxed, and the full payment is applied to the base value instead

Symptoms

In the payments report, taxes are missing from payment for checks that are refunded

Fixed an issue the "Last Week" filter on the Labor Summary report does not produce data unless data has already been generated

Symptoms

Labor Summary report won't generate data if “last week” filter is applied when initially running the report. If you run another filter first and then switch to the Last Week filter, the filter will function
