Group multiple sites and define a hierarchy using TRAY enterprise management features. You will also be able to push common setting to multiple sites. The enterprise hierarchy consists of service configurations, roles, day parts, contracts, naming rules (GTIN, Master Name, Tags) and device settings. This is also where you would be able to assign an franchise manager to each enterprise.

The naming rule allows you to give a different name for the menu item that appears in the app, HQ, receipt, menu, KDS, and tags to filter the item when searching. Learn more about adding naming roles.
KDS list item view
A new view - List View is now available along with Grid Views (5x1, 5x2, 4x2) in KDS Settings. KDS Display -Line item has the ability for KDS cells to contain individual menu items.List view allow you to view and bump individual items separately. KDS can be switched into List View from the settings. A new option is added in KDS, List View with Off and On switch.
Manage incoming order load on KDS
TRAY KDS devices are enhanced to manage the incoming orders load to the kitchen. The KDS devices balances the load of incoming orders from multiple terminals. For example, if a Kitchen has multiple KDS devices configured to different terminals in the site, the orders irrespective of the terminal routed to the KDS with fewer orders in the queue based on the incoming orders load from a terminal.
Tray is now certified with Merchantlink
This feature now allows the user to set up their payment settings (including credit card processor and gift cards). It also allows the user to select which features to allow such as debit cards, Credit Cards and Gift cards. Learn more about Merchantlink Integration.
Employees and managers now have the ability to review and modify tip from the POS. A new entry is created in payment reports with the adjusted tip amount. Learn more about tip management.
Manage your breaks using TRAY
Staff can now clock-in and clock-out of the POS device and based on the role of the staff, the system displays alerts or warning or confirmation message before clock-in and clock out. Time entry report show the details of the staff clock-in, clock-out, break-in, break-out. Learn more about Break in/Break out reports.
Approving time entry changes by staff
Staff can now review and approve or decline the time entries that updated manually by the Managers. Managers can edit the time entries from the Time Entry report and staff would get an approval request at the next login. Learn more about Approving Time Entry Changes by Staff.
Customized check receipts
Custom receipts allow users to customize the check receipts. User can now change the format and content that gets printed on the order receipts. User will now able to toggle fields on the receipts (Turn them on/off), rearrange fields on the receipts (Move them up and down) and also be able to include other custom fields such as promo code, tax exempt Id etc. Learn More about Custom Receipts.
Cook time indicator on KDS
KDS will feature multiple colors indicating the time elapsed for the order
The color changes on KDS are as follows:
Until the initial 50% of the time, the color of the cook time box will be in Grey
From 50% of the time till it reaches 75% of the time, the color of the cooktime box will be in Blue.
From 75%, until the cooktime reaches 100% , the color of the cooktime box must be in Orange
Beyond 100% if the item is still not prepared or not bumped off from the KDS, the color of cook time box must change to Red.
If the item is prepared the status of the item is changed to ready state, the cook time box is changed to Green.
Centralized Device Management
User now have the ability to save and get device setting configuration for KDS/POS. User can now update the devices (KDS/POS) settings from one place instead of changing settings by physically going to each device. Learn more about Cloud settings for KDS/POS.
POS UI Improvements
In the Payment screen, the following changes are implemented
The Total button is now replaced with the following:
Send & Stay: Places and sends the order to the kitchen and let the staff stay on the screen.
Send & Close: Places and sends the order to the kitchen. The POS screen navigates to blank ordering screen for the staff to continue with new orders.
Pay: Staff needs to perform the payment to place and send the order to the kitchen.
A new slider, Full Payment and Split Payment is added on the Payment screen, which enables the staff to perform either the full payment in one go or split the payment into multiple partial payments.
