Tender Types allows you to enable and configure various modes of payments. When you create a site, some payment options are pre-enabled by default. HQ users will need the View/Add/Edit/Delete Tender Type permissions in their role to perform the relevant actions.
To add a tender type:
- Login to TRAY HQ website with your credentials.
- From the top menu, select Sites.
- Select the Site you wish to add or edit tenders for.
- From the left sidebar, select Tender Types.
- Select Add Tender Type.
The following table provides information about the UI fields in the tender type screen.
A drop-down list to select the tender. When creating a new custom tender, you should always select "New Tender Type"
Enter the name for the tender used in HQ and reports.
Enter the name for the tender used in the apps.
Enables or disables the access to the payment type based on the sales channel where the order is taken and/or the staff role that is processing it.
Disable Manual Tips
When toggled, disables the option for custom tip assignment (IE only the preset amounts/percents will be presented as options.)
Allows the drawer to kick as if a cash tender were used. Useful for receipt storage for few tenders or for paper tender analogs.
Toggles the ability to append comments when this tender is used. These will appear in payment reports.
- Click Save to create the tender type or click Cancel to discard the changes.
