Permission for OLO Refunds
This feature adds a permission to staff accounts which restricts the ability to refund a card payment that has come from OLO. If a user does not have the correct permission to refund an Olo Payment, they will see a message that says 'Could Not Authorize - Missing Permission OloRefund'
Device Setting Changes (Send + Print + Pay Functionality)
This feature adds a new fire button “Send & Pay (Print)” on the POS check screen. This enables users to use a Send & Pay (Print) button that:
1. Fires the Items in the Cart
2. Takes User to the Payment Screen
3. Prints the Guest Receipt
Replace DialogFragment with AlertDialog in the classes
We have replaced DailogFragment to normal AlertDialog. This change will lead to a much faster UI experience for the following dialogs:
Bixolon Printer Support
This feature adds support for Bixolon Printers (SRP-330II model). Current configuration supports USB connection for the Bixolon printer.
PayNGo Enhanced QR code
This feature is an enhancement to the existing PayNGo QR code on the guest receipt. If more than one check is open at the same time, each check will have its own QR code, making it easier to identify the specific check information in the KDS application.
Combo Item Counts in Kiosk
This feature allows combo items on the kiosk to only count as one product regardless of the number of product modifiers contained in the combo item. This count is displayed in the bottom right checkout button of the kiosk.
Similarly, you will notice the item quantity = 1 in the case of a combo:
Knowledge Base Documentation link on the top of the reports
We have provided a link to the Knowledge Base Documentation for the following
reports which are highlighted in red.
Users can find the text “About this report” with an icon on the top of generated reports.
The text "More info on this report" will be annotated on the icon.
When you click on the text or icon, a new tab will open with the appropriate Knowledge Base Report Documentation page.
STR-2368, STR-2530, STR-2356 & STR-2393
For the states that go beyond the federal mandate overtime laws (AL, CA, CO, NV), we have added three new settings in Site Settings > Financial:
- Enable Double Overtime calculations
- Enable Seventh Day Overtime
- Enable Premium Pay added along with a text field for Double Time Kick-in hours

Write-Protect 'Tax Type' during a Menu or Product re-Push/re-Import
This feature enables the functionality that restricts the 'tax type' [tax inclusive/tax exclusive] for any of the products/menus during a re-push or a re-import.
HQ Permission to enable "Test Staff"
We created a feature that restricts the ability to create or retroactively apply/remove the 'Test Staff' flag in HQ to Above Store users with the 'Edit Test Staff' permission assigned.
There is now an added 'info' button next to the Test User flag that explains that a user with the test staff flag should never ring in real sales. Test Staff functionality should only be used as a troubleshooting tool and should be reserved for IT administrators.
Changes to New Taxation Labels
We have changed the labels in the tax configuration UI and the pop up UI for the following fields:

Note: alongside this update we have also removed 'fix tax rate' from the 'Tax Rate' drop down in the pop up UI.
Rename "Sales" report to "Tenders Summary"
We have changed the report name in HQ from “Sales” to “Tenders Summary” in Tray HQ.
Add Report Name & Page Number to Printed Reports
This feature adds the report name as well as the page number at the bottom of the printed report when the reports are being printed.
As per this release, we have done changes to the following reports:
- Cash Owed
- Till Activity
- Till Discrepancies
- Event Summary
- Event Statistics
- Role Summary
- Staff Summary
Users with "Edit Discount Effective Date" Permission Cannot Save Their Edits
When a user with All site permissions attempts to edit the “Discount Effective Date”, an error message appears.
For fix, we removed validation on 'All Sites' permission.
The Labor Report Occasionally Shows Blank Data
When running the Labor reports sometimes for some locations, the reports show as blank.
Labor report was showing blank data because the BreakIn record was missing for the staff, this caused an exception in the backend.
Decimal is Not Counted in the Outstanding Weekly Column in the FM Report
In the FM Report under the “Outstanding” line, if you add up all the amount for each day, it will not equal the “Weekly” column because the decimal is not being counted.
Made Outstanding weekly column to consider decimals in FMR.
Negative Hours in Staff Summary Report for Shifts with No Clock Out
Negative hours visible in Staff Summary report.
Change in query while fetching data for Staff Summary report.
Checks with only Donations Items not Showing in Check Count on DSR
Incorrect check count for DSR.
Checks with only ServiceCharge and Donation items will now be considered while displaying data on DSR.
